Q: So who exactly is Tango?
A: Tango is our spirit animal. Legend has it he once defused a bomb with nothing but a toothpick and a half-written jingle for a children’s literacy PSA. In reality, the human Tangos are Craig Page (strategy), Ross Weythman (creative), Rhys Turner (creative technology) and Patrick Rabier (AI solutions). Between us we’ve logged plenty of time in the big-agency trenches, and have a roster of trusted specialists ready to jump in when the mission needs extra firepower.
Q: Is everything you make generated by AI?
A: Not at all. If a great idea requires handmade claymation, we do handmade claymation. If it calls for an epic live-action shoot in a muddy field at sunrise, we’ll be there with bells and boots on. Cache helps us explore more and get to great ideas faster, but it doesn’t replace human judgment, taste, or weird late-night flashes of brilliance. Our default setting is to solve the problem in the most memorable way possible, and we use the best tool for the job, full stop.
Q: So what exactly is AI’s role in your work?
A: Cache streamlines the more repetitive stuff that happens at an ad agency so our team can focus harder on things that make the work better, like fine-tuning a brand voice, crafting a story or stretching an idea until it snaps into something people actually remember. Aka the stuff you can’t automate. Everything still goes through human brains, gut checks and final say. Cache is our jetpack, not our pilot.
Q: Are you an ad agency or a tech company?
A: Both, kind of. We’re a creative agency that, right now, builds and uses our own AI platform, Cache, to make stronger work. And we’re building toward making Cache available for other creative teams too.
Q: Do you play well with other teams?
A: Always. We slot in wherever we’re needed alongside in-house teams, agencies or production partners. We’re collaborators, not poachers.
Q: How do you handle pricing?
A: Whether it’s a one-off campaign or a retainer, you’ll always get a clear proposal with options. While Cache is in beta, rates are heavily discounted, and when it’s ready to be licensed and driven by other creative teams, we’ll share clear pricing then too.
Q: Can this be the last question? I’m bored.
A: Okayyyy
